Meet the seven elements of Bluetooth Beacon positioning

The Bluetooth module of the positioning project serves as a known node to send broadcasts, and mobile phones or other nodes receive broadcast information. The location information of the known nodes can be extracted from the broadcast information, the distance is calculated by signal strength, and the position is calculated by triangulation algorithm to achieve positioning. Positioning realization Because Bluetooth only needs to broadcast information and does not need to be connected, the program only needs to realize the broadcast of Bluetooth NFR58812. Realizing the current broadcast is relatively simple. It only needs to encapsulate the content that needs to be sent, and the disabled broadcast can be realized. broadcast.

1. The deployment of Bluetooth Beacon needs to avoid obstruction as much as possible. Do not deploy near corners/obstacles.

2. For the general indoor environment, the Beacon spacing is controlled at about 4-8m. The deployment should be even.

3. Beacon can increase or decrease the deployment density according to needs, but it is generally recommended to obtain better positioning accuracy in the interval of 4-6m, and the interval greater than 6-8m will result in poor positioning effect.

4. In the open area, ensure that the distance between each pair is about 5m, and the entire space is covered in a triangular grid pattern.

5. The driveway area of the parking lot should be deployed in an unobstructed place as far as possible above, with a spacing of about 5m. It can be deployed in single or double rows according to the width. For parking spaces, it is recommended that each parking space (generally 2.5m*5.5m can deploy 1-2 Beacons as needed.

6. Inside the room, a smaller room or a room that does not require precise positioning can be deployed in the center. Larger rooms are considered similar to open areas, with triangular grid staggered distribution.

7. Lobby, high-rise (storey height>4m) area, hollow, etc., shall not be deployed on the ceiling. It can be deployed along a wall or on a building structure near the ground at an interval of about 5m.

8. For room entrances, indoor road junctions, and path turning points, deployment is needed to improve user experience.

9. Indoor corridors can be deployed in single or double rows according to the width. For relatively closed corridors (with a width of about 3m), consider deploying along the center line of the corridor; for wider corridors, they can be deployed in double rows.
